Brian MacKenzie Bio:

 

Brian has spent 18 years with his wife Linda dedicated to his business as the owner and executive chef of the award-winning Inn at Pleasant Lake located in New London. Throughout the years, Brian has accomplished many benchmarks. Two years after opening, Brian was invited to be a guest chef at the prestigious James Beard House in New York City. He and his wife Linda, worked diligently to position their business to be the best in the Sunapee region.  They received many personal and professional accolades over the years and sold the business in 2015 with top rankings for both inn and restaurant on Trip Advisor, Google and Yelp.  These accomplishments began with a fixer upper property in 1997 and a determination to turn it into a gem.   

 

After the sale, Brian transitioned with the new owners for one year to help guarantee future success by continuing to operate the restaurant at a high level while helping the new owners find and develop a new chef to achieve long-term success.  

 

On a new mission to provide a great catering experience, Chef MacKenzie has teamed up with A.J. Giglio the owner and "Pit Master" of Brother's House of Smoke in Sutton New Hampshire.  Together the two chefs will bring together the worlds of BBQ and fine cuisine. Many menu items below are directly off the menu from Brother's House of  Smoke. A.J. puts incredible time, care and passion into his food. Chef MacKenzie is extremely happy to team up with someone with the same passion towards a perfect meal and a great glass of bourbon.
